Conflict minerals

Dear customer,

We are seeing a significant increase in the number of inquiries regarding the use of “conflict minerals”. The definition of “conflict minerals” derives from the extraction of four minerals – tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold – in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and neighbouring countries. This production directly or indirectly finances armed groups in the area, which use violence against the local population as part of their warfare.

Techno Skruv buys goods only from respected and reliable producers. All our collaboration partners are in continual contact with their subcontractors in terms of the ban (Dodd-Franck Wall Street Reform, Consumer Protection Act 2010, Section 1502) on the use of conflict minerals in the production of steel and steel products on their behalf. As far we know currently, there are no conflict minerals in our products. We will continue to work together with our suppliers to ensure that no conflict minerals from the Congo or neighbouring areas appear in our products.
