Conflict minerals
Dear customer,
We are seeing a marked increase in the number of enquiries we receive about the use of "conflict minerals". The definition of "conflict minerals" derives from the extraction of the four minerals, tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold in the Democratic Republic of Congo and neighbouring countries. This production directly or indirectly finances armed groups in the region, which use violence against the local population as part of their warfare.
Techno Skruv purchases goods only from respected and reliable manufacturers. All our partners are in continuous contact with their subcontractors regarding the prohibition (Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform, Consumer Protection Act 2010, Section 1502) against using "conflict minerals" in the production of steel and steel products on their behalf. As far as we know today, there are no "conflict minerals" in our products. We continue to work with our suppliers to ensure that no "conflict minerals" from the Congo or surrounding areas are present in our products.
